Inclusion Support

Our Inclusion Support Team is dedicated to providing high-quality educational programs tailored to meet the needs of students with additional requirements.

Under the guidance of an Inclusion Support Coordinator and along with a team of dedicated Inclusion Support Assistants (ISAs), we collaborate closely with teaching staff and the School Leadership Team to ensure that every student with additional needs receives the necessary targeted adjustments to thrive academically.

Through open communication with families, students, and teachers, our goal is to create carefully tailored programs that cater to the individual needs of each student within the school environment. We provide supplementary programs that address specific areas of difficulty, such as reading, social skills, and sensory processing. In designing these programs, we actively engage with specialists and external agencies to develop comprehensive and suitable Educational Adjustment Plans (EAPs).

To facilitate our support initiatives, we receive funding from the Catholic Education Office through the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD), an Australian Government Initiative. This funding is allocated to students who have a diagnosed or imputed disability that impacts their learning in the classroom. For more information about the NCCD, please visit their website

Families of students with additional needs who wish to join our school community are encouraged to complete the Application for Enrolment and provide any relevant information that would assist us in planning and preparing for a smooth and positive transition into Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School.
